Adam@Home by Rob Harrell for January 03, 2010
Transcript:
Laura: Gosh, I can't believe it's 2010 already. Adam: I know, right? Laura: Doesn't the year 2010 sound so 'futuristic'? Adam: It does! When we were kids, 2010 seemed so far away. Laura: Do you remember what you thought you'd grow up to be when you were a kid? Adam: I wanted to be the world's first combination astronaut/soap-opera actor. Laura: Well, I'm happy you're here and that wish didn't come true. Adam: Well, I'm over it now and happy to be here too, honey... ...But be glad you weren't there the day I found out NASA doesn't have a theatre department.

DrT, the way I phrase it is “It takes everyplace you’ve ever been to get you where you are.”

Actually, we *do* have a theatre department. Or, at least, a Music And Drama (M.A.D.) club.

Why’s there a question mark after “Right” in the first panel?

Because it’s said with the intonation of a question and not a statement.
