“Going to the show”…boy that dates Sparky’s vocabulary. Do people still say that? My mother went to “the show”, her kids went to “the movies.” Then I moved to Europe and English speaking people went either to “the pictures” or “the cinema” depending on generation. These days, kids stay home and watch Netflix.

I*was* CB’s age when this ran, if it’s from the mid 60s. My mother was born in 1924. Like I say, it dates Mr Schulz’s use of English.
