The skin of a naked mole rat doesn't sense pain from injuries! Well, what do you think...? The Same Cafe in Denver, Colo., USA, has no set prices. All of its patrons are allowed to pay what they feel they can afford! The Bucsh Gardens theme Park in Tampa, Fla., USA, allows guests to challenge a tiger to a tug-of-war match!

the naked mole rat fact isn’t that hard to believe…the brain itself has no pain-detecting sensors. There’s people without those same sensors in their entire bodies (which can lead to some major issues down the road). It’s just…meh

I already knew about SAME. It stands for “So All May Eat,” and it’s been surprisingly profitable. The idea is that ANYBODY can come in and get a hot meal, and pay what they can afford. Part of what helps is that the staff are all volunteers.
