I adopted my girlfriend’s cat when she had to move. Little monster spent about two hours hiding under the couch before she was running all over exploring and cheek marking everything in sight. Slept with me that night.

Loyalty is not a word cats know. Still hops in her lap and plays with her son when he turns up, but not much for enthusiasm.

I guess the cat doesn’t know who Claire is anymore.

Or the one that feeds you. This could be said for dogs too.

Our cat has no loyalty. She’ll spend the night on anyone’s couch as long as there’s food around.
