I miss the old accents all these characters once had, they speak proper English now; really dilutes the flavour this strip once had

That is generally the recommended way for a jockey to win a horse race is to be on a horse…

In the original Andy’s day, it took a STRONG woman to do such a thing. I’ve not been oop North in a long while but I don’t think women put up with that sort of behaviour, these days..Having said that, I know of plenty of women who spend their (benefit) money on drink, cigarettes, bingo, drugs……..not so different, really.

It’s early morning in the UK and a new day will be starting for our good pals #3 and #6. Now it’s time for me to fold my tent like the Arabs and silently go off into the night.
