We used to say, “I had my mouth all set for (whatever)” but “tastied up” is better. I agree, Simpsonfan, if you are denied your tasty of choice, you’ve got to go one better.
“Tastied up” is a great term! With true hunger such a prevalent and life-threatening problem in the world, I’d be glad to adopt the phrase for our family’s use when we just want something tasty to eat!
“Tastied up” is a great expression and exactly what a kid would say. I wonder if Brian Crane didn’t get this right out of the mouth of an eight-year old ? I love it !
I am tastied up for a venison roast…good thing its deer hunting season…now I gotta go find some hunter and buy one off of him…and maybe some backstrap too….getting waaayyyy too tastied up here…
darn! I thought I invented that saying. Heh. One day, I accidentally informed the entire classroom that I would not be attending church school’s church day because I was …. “…. all churchied up.” full of church. heh. we attended church on both saturday and sunday. it was a busy week. I am not sure the teacher approves of me. heh. oopsie daisy. It was funny, because at home, i was all formal "thank you for inviting me to church with you, love. but Mommy has appointments…. " etc…. so formal and nice at home, but forgot in the moment!

Love that phrase too. I agree with the dog – “I was born tastied up” and especially for pizza. We need to use it more so spell check will like it too.

Mark: Scratching will often dislodge a hair, which then falls on the pizza, thus permitting the vendor to get blamed.
