Actually, I’ve been dealing with those timeshifts lately for much the same reason. God bless Man’s ingenuity with modern communications.And damn it because I now get calls at any time.

Similiar situation in the past and sometimes on Sat/Sun. She brought the Sun to I and I did that to her. People thought it is weird to be talking to each other for 6 to 8 hours straight. And we are 4,000 kms. apart.

Okay, so distance and time differences make it tough, but Luann seems radiant nonetheless!

krelboyne is correct. 6am for Sydney would be 11am the previous day in California. Using your calculation method 6am for Quill and 11pm for LuAnn, would put her in Abu Dhabi.

I notice their bosoms are in a more realistic location, (not up around their collar bones).

My late wife and I fell in love via snail mail. I was in Vietnam she was in Pa. We wrote and kept the flame going stronger and stronger. Man, I wish we would have had FaceTime and such then. We would sometimes wait up to a week for those letters.

Big mistake. Calendar date has nothing to do with day time. Let us assume that Luann is right when she says that Australia is “19 hours ahead”. She is on our west coast presumably and he’s in Sydney. But “19 hours ahead” is an inelegant way of saying 5 hours behind. Sydney is 5 hours behind. Luann is 5 hours ahead of him,. So that 6 am for Quill is 11 am, not 11 pm, for Luann. Let’s hope they discover this soon, like tomorrow? Keith Wedmore

Your are still no time expert. Do the math again. 6 AM in Oz will still be 11 AM in CAand Luann will still most likely be in school.

using your example, go back 5 hours from 11am for Q to 6am. now if you go back 5 hours from 4pm for L you get 11am.

If she gets pregnant, Quill can be pretty sure it isn’t his. I think. I’m not really up to date with the latest computer technology.

Brains? Personality? No. My guess is, Quill stayed interested because he got to lie on a bed with Luann and make out with her. It got enough hormones going that a long distance relationship is a novelty. For now, at least.
