    fashion will repeat itself. bell bottoms came back in the 90s. plaid shirts will come back. but, the no glove, no love is now law when shooting porn in la.

    Where I live, people seem to be stuck in 1972. Platforms, wide leg jeans, furry boots, short crocheted vests.

    @ Ellen Gwynne, you want to see silly men’s clothes, go to You Tube and pull up the video of “Little Willy Won’t Go Home.” Those were “stars” and yes, they dressed like that voluntarily.

    Or indeed, any pop band of the 80s.

    One of the advantages of the swallowtail coat was that those wide “tails” had deep, useful pockets in them. You could carry your entire life around with you.
