Linda is thinking. I believe she is planning to get more involved. There may be cake in the future.

What a great idea: Endtown, the video game. One of the mini games could be to go around the town and gather all the ingredients for a cake.

Well, Linda does know where she can acquire dairy for this cake…and eggs…

And go rummage in the closets for chocolate…. This is going very well. Thank you AN. I really love Holly at the Endtown logo in go comics. It brightens my expectations. This is going to be a good four . Blessed Be

Mr. Hopper is looking in the wrong cafe for Trudy.

I always say that, given the recipe, the ingredients, and the equipment, I can cook anything. I didn’t waste my time in chemistry class…

Linda might be able to cobble together a cake, but finding a “Trudy” would be more difficult.

LOL! You watch..Linda will figure out how to do cake, and perhaps more. Look at that last panel…the compassion is there. He’s touched her heart.

it seems now with all the new things Linda is dealing with. her own problems seem miniscule. Meg did say it best in panel two “who is these days?”

Well she knows where to get the milk.

My mom used to volunteer at our local hospital. Said it was the best way to get back your sense of perspective, when you were inclined to feel sorry for yourself.

Technically, she doesn’t even need eggs… but then, she probably isn’t thinking of cheesecake, no-bake or not. A two-egg cake, say…

I like to see her convince the chicken anthros to give up their eggs so she can bake a cake. Flour would be an issue. There is oatmeal which can be ground into oatmeal flour. High fiber cake there. There may be stockpiles of Duncan Hines cake mixes left up topside. (The Twinkies gone some time ago) Some only need water and oil. But that is OUR reality. What does Endtown have left surface wise?

Wouldn’t it be nice if Linda was to find a way to bake a cake for poor Mr. Hopper, and save him from his endless search? A nice chocolate cake would really make a hit.

If Linda is going to look for something for Mr. Hopper, it’s going to be Trudy, not the cake. I think she’s going to be doing some background checking and see if she can find what happened to Trudy. Her career in Endtown may turn out to be detective.

Milk, Eggs, Wheat… all inside the Chocolate Cake! I said, “What do you want for breakfast?” “I want the choco-late caaake.” “Chocolate Cake, COMING UP!”

You can bake cakes without eggs or milk…the flour will be hard to get, unless there’s a supply ’round somewhere…

you know, in japan they made these really good bean cakes…

Yeah, but good luck talking the natives out of their kith and kin (eggs) and milk! And where to get some sort of flour?

Her head is spinning with how she can make cake and more. This bodes well for Linda and all of End town.

I said yesterday that you can make flour out of beans. glad to see I’m not the only one. I am gluten intolerant and its amazing what can be substituted.

Love will surely take the mind where minds don’t usually go…

Lots of things can be made into flour. Acorns, if any survived. The beans seem to be canned so they would need to be dried out before they could be ground. Oats would work, too.
