Sad but true! And the “You look great!”… what liars!p.s. Both of you guys look like you’re trying too hard. Good morning, Cathy clan! The good news is that I didn’t get a call from camp last night. The bad news is that we got a letter from her yesterday that she must have written on the first day that talked about how miserable she was. The odd thing is that she’s one of the few who is smiling in all the pictures that she’s in. So I hope she got over the first day jitters and is fine now (except for bedtime). Sigh… I don’t remember going through this at all.

I will never ever go to a high school reunion! Even if I were thin, didn’t have gray hair or wrinkles and was rich!

I only went to my school reunion (the only one ever, as far as I know) because I was persuaded that all my old school pals would want to buy copies of my books. I stocked up so that I could take a few along, put some out with the photos and report cards, as requested . . . and took the whole lot back home again at the end!

Anyone want to buy . . . ?!!!

I said it before and I’ll say it again, I’ll never go to a high school reunion!______________________________________________@lightenup – hopefully she got over her jitters and will want to go back next year.

lightenup: Hope Jr. is doing better at camp today and that her letter was, indeed, just a bad case of the nervous jitters from a 10-year-old girl who was away from home all by herself and was feeling sad and down at being away from her family for the first time in her young life. When does she return home? Please be sure to give her our love and tell her we’re all thinking of her!

Ummm . . . sorry, lightenup – I fear I have misled you just a little. My youngest grandchild will be 20 in a couple of months . . . I’m a wee bit older . . . in fact it’ll be a long time before 60 comes around again!;-)
