IRving; I dialed. I hung up. Caller I.D. will tell her I called. She'll tell her friends I called and didn't leave a message. Her friends will tell their friends. Their friends will tell their mothers. The mothers will tell their friends... If I ever dial her number again, I'll be confronted by the entire female population of the earth on the other end of the phone. We can commit to one of you! It's the other three billion who make us nervous!

You and Cathy are a match made in over-the-top obsessive heaven, Irving.I remember when caller ID caused so much anxiety, but now we’re so used to it, I can’t imagine life without it. I don’t answer the phone when my sister is driving on a trip and has 4 hours to spare. I don’t answer the phone when it’s a telemarketer or another number that looks suspicious. I answer the phone when it’s the school, my husband or my mother.Good morning, Cathy clan! It’s supposed to be 70 degrees here – crazy!

Wendy Williams just went on a little rant about people leaving messages when we have caller id. We can just check the caller id and call back if we want to.
Hello Cathy clan!

[Sigh] And we wonder how Cathy became such a nut-job.
