Electra!! Yay! You look adorable, but I do agree that I wouldn’t dress up my dog if I had one. Poor thing.Good morning, Cathy clan! Not sure what happened to me yesterday, sorry about that. Good to hear from the faithful regulars though!

I read years ago that Electra was drawn from Cathy G’s real life puppy that she had at the time. I believe her name was Lolly. She looked like a German Shepard pup. Electra never grew into a a GS though, did she?

My dog doesn’t like getting baths either. You’d think by the look on her face and the way she tries to escape when we’re bathing her in the kitchen sink that we’re inflicting the worse kind of torture on her EVER!!!!! She should be thankful she only gets one a month instead of every other day like her human “parents” do!!!!! ;-)

lightenup: The only clothes we put on our dog is just one little sweater we make her wear at this time of year [baths aren’t the only thing she doesn’t like!!! ;-)]. She’s almost 12 years old and very tiny — only about 8-1/2 lbs. — and being an indoor dog, she’d freeze outside in 20 and 30-degree weather if she were out there for very long without at least a little something warm covering her body as much as possible. And given that she can never just go out, do her business and come right back in the house as quickly as possible [preferring to sniff what seems like every blade of grass FIRST instead], it’s simply something she HAS to tolerate until the weather warms up again.

I’m with you, Electra. (By the way … I’ve always thought that’s the coolest name.)
Not sure where Susan might be. I know the user Dry was banned from the site a while back, but she’s since returned. I hope Susan will be with us again soon, too.
