See, Electra…all things eventually come out for the good for those who wait! We try to take our IS (Irish Setter) Katie with us whenever possible. She came home from the groomers earlier in the day…Oh, she looks So Gorgeous! (Hate to say it, Electra, but she’s got you beat in the looks department Big Time!). Anyway, this arc looks like it will be interesting and funny! I hope all of you out there in Cathy-Land will have a blessed Tuesday! ;)

Good for you, Electra!We have 2 shy cats who had to go on this move with us. Not only did TSA make us take them out to be inspected, but then they had to endure the 8 hour flight over. Poor kitties have now recovered and are doing fairly well in our new house. They have no desire to take another trip ever.Good morning, Cathy clan! We’re here in Spain!!! The packing and moving was a huge pain, but I’m trying to forget about that. So far we only have the things that we brought on the plane with us. We are waiting for an airplane shipment that should arrive soon, and then the boat shipment which will arrive in about 3 weeks. So far, it’s been mostly unpacking, cleaning and shopping. But we did meet a British boy on our second day here, who is the same age as Jr. He has a younger brother, who is a year older than Lil. So the girls have been hanging out with them, while I’ve been talking with their mom. They’ve been here for 4 years, so they know the ins-and-outs of living away from home and in this area. Unfortunately they are moving back to England next month, which I’m sad about because I really enjoy their family. We only have 1 car for now, so the girls and I are sorta stuck at home, but I think we’re going to try and walk to the nearest shopping center this morning.Hope all is well with everyone here! I’ve missed you guys!!

@lightenup – I can’t tell you how jealous I am about this adventure you’re on! And I’m very happy to hear that you decided to go. Post regularly, so I can live vicariously through you! :)

We never go on vacation without our dog, either. She’s just as much a part of our family as the rest of us are and we wouldn’t dream of going somewhere and leaving her behind . . . we’d miss her too much and she’d miss us too much. Naturally, that can limit us greatly as to where we can go sometimes but that’s okay; we don’t mind. Just so long as she can be with us, we don’t care. We still manage to have a really good time anyhow!!!!! ;-)

I assumed with everything needing to be done in order to set up house in a new country, that we wouldn’t hear from you for a while so what a happy, pleasant surprise to “see” you here today!!! Sorry to hear you’re losing new friends there so quickly but hopefully they can teach you as much as possible about your new “homeland” before they head back to England. Please come back as often as you can!!!!! :-)
