Blond woman: I once packed eight pairs of shoes for a seven-day trip! Charlene: I packed eight pairs of shoes for a five-day trip and bought a pair when I got there! Andrea: I shipped four pairs ahead, packed three and bought two pairs when I got there! Cathy: I went away for a long weekend with eleven pairs stashed in the trunk of the car! Mr. Pinkley: I once went on a month-long vacation with one pair of shoes! Andrea, Charlene and blond woman: That's just sick. Cathy: Old problem: Don't know how they think. New problem: Do know how they think.

I keep telling my wife we should go on vacation with NO baggage at all. We always come home with more clothes than we left with.

Yeah, 2 pairs are usually fine for me. One comfy pair to walk in, and a nicer pair for the evening.Hello Cathy clan!

Today we took our first excursion to Segovia to see the Roman aqueduct there. I’ve seen it before, but it never fails to amaze me that it’s been there 2,000 years and still is awe-inspiring!

Let me see…how many pairs of actual (Flip-Flops don’t count) “shoes” do I have: 4 pairs of sandals (white, brown, black, blue suede); 4 pairs of tennies (white, black, brown with navy blue accents, and scuff-around blue canvas…which I need to replace as they keep wearing out as they are cheap!); 1 pair of fancy shoes that I wore for my son’s wedding; 2 pairs of flats (black and brown); and several slippers for warm weather and cold weather. All of them are either on shoe racks or shoe holders. Some of them I’ve had for years, LOL ;)
