No eye rollers yet? I know I just skim, but I enjoy the comments. Happy Friday.

I’ll start, Quaby! Not sure why she’s expecting a miracle. Either you need to be flexible with the date, flexible with the venue, or start planning far in advance. Or have it at your house. .Hello Cathy clan! Finally the last day of school! We get to sleep in a bit, yay!Daoine, what a coincidence that you also had a trip to the vet yesterday! My cats are pretty bad too, but have gotten slower in their old age. The cats I took yesterday are strays that had a litter of kittens each, so I wanted to get them spayed before more kittens showed up. The worst part was probably when one mama escaped in my house and I was terrified she would find my 2 cats and there would be a fight. Fortunately that didn’t happen. Now we’re dealing with recovery. One mama did well and has forgiven me (she lets me pet her again and she purrs). The other mama had it worse yesterday so she’s in more pain. She won’t let me near her. I feel bad for her, but I don’t think there’s much I can do.Thanks, sis! It’s been a lot of work with these cats, but I wouldn’t have done it differently. I think one of the mamas likes it inside, but I don’t know anyone who would adopt her. The other one seems happy outside (although she may change her mind after all this free food). The problem is that it’s so hard to find homes for pets here, that there is little hope for these two. Sad…p.s. We go to the US July 9 – yay!!

Parks are good. Have the whole thing in a park, and serve cake and punch. Rent a pavilion and chairs. It will be lovely, and you can stop worrying about the guest list. The only issue is that you will have to hold the wedding in a month that has decent weather to be outdoors. Patio heaters can only do so much. If you are dead set on a February wedding, you are going to have to look at hotels and community centers and probably also call every church in town. February is going to be next to impossible to book because of V-Day.

“I’ll have my agent talk to your representative, who will call their contact to work something out. OK?”
And then, let’s throw in some [eye-rolls] for good measure … just for Quaby.
HI, MOM. Happy Friday, “Cathy” Clan.
