OK, I’ve got the limerick, now. It reminds me of when a bunch of us kids went to the cinema to see Barbarella. At the scene where Pygar the Angel kneels down to rescue Barbarella, one guy yelled out, “In her ear!”
The Society For The Improvement of Frog Blog Captions wishes to point out that “THE PAIN’S GONE IN MY YOU-KNOW-WHAT” beats the hell out of “SOME HOURS LATER.”
The little parrot pointed out one of the differences between birds and color-blind animals. Birds see colors even more vividly than humans, so can easily be taught to sort things that way. My Cuddles has been known to say “I like red” (she was partial to my own favorite color).
On the “Dog Shoots Owner” post, one day while walking our dog on the trails behind my house, we met up with a hunter returning from his “walk in the woods”. We exchanged greetings, and he obviously liked dogs, so he set his shotgun against a pine tree and started playing with the dog – a lab, coincidentally. The dog got all playful, and was jumping around – and on one jump, his front paw caught the side of the shotgun – which the hunter had apparently left loaded with the safety off – discharging it. Fortunately for all of us, it was pointed straight up the trunk of the tree, so all we got was a set of ringing ears for each of us, some pine bark shreds raining down, and a heck of a scare. The poor dog was terrified, of course, and the hunter, I hope, learned a lesson about gun safety. The tree still stands, but is mostly dead (of natural causes, I believe).
Cuddles was very close to me during the 23 years she was with me – so MUCH so that I paid for her freeze dry taxidermy so I still have her sitting near on a driftwood perch. Fitzroy (in this avatar last year) has a pretty brass box for his ashes and I painted his portrait on it in epoxy enamals. I have many large paintings that I did of Cuddles (some I’ve shown on Ballard St).

Hey, Teresa ….thanks!!! I love roosters and chickens as long as they’re non-violent! A martial arts demonstration is certainly much more preferable than any actual….ummm……. “rooster” fight. And I must say that ninja was very skilled.
Did anyone see today’s (3/2/13) Bizzaro? Only a couple weeks after Teresa posts a woman with one breast, Dan Piraro does a joke about the same thing. Is he a fan of Frog Blog?-Speaking of the Blog. Very Happy to see Braid posted. I love that pic.
Also, if you haven’t checked the Thailand’s Got Talent post recently, Teresa updated it with a Rolling in the Deep cover too. She looks completely different. -I also decided to look up who won that Season of TGT. Warunee Suwannarak made the final 6 but not the final 3. There was also some controversy surrounding her.

I could never be a bad monkey. Like all the other FA commenters, I’m an ape.
Bad ape, now … that I could most certainly be. But I’m not flexible enough to do THAT to myself. Don’t remember ever dreaming it, either.

@piksea, everything in a relationship should be reciprocal; I’m glad my lover understands that ;-D

Theresa, about the sinkhole story, on the Blog, it’s not the reporter at fault, it’s the editor.
And I’ve been meaning to say that FA has been on a great roll lately. VG stuff.
