I liked today’s strip but one of the padding panels could so easily be used to list a couple more of the opponents’ formidable players! Then the 5th panel’s pause would work even better. It seems like the modern Andy team is always missing opportunities, large or small, to make the strip work better. (And I really wish they would make Andy bleedin’ TALK like Andy!)
@chalkiejLoved today’s Pogo! Very often they start out reasonably normal but then the absurdity begins to mount. (Can you imagine a modern team doing Pogo without the dialect? That would be even more of an outrage than what they’ve done to Andy’s voice!)\@mikeyjShakey Capp gave me a nice big giggle!
Yes ! I am letting the repair sit until tomorrow before I test it. xxFingers Crossedxx Rode the bike today. I think it is the best ride I have ever done with it. I paced myself and I do believe that this almost 2 years of daily fitness is working to my advantage. Went to the store and the bank. Doing traffic on the bike kept me “alert” !
I’m glad you enjoyed your bike ride. Is that going to be part of your fitness now? I hope your radiator is fixed now. My fingers have been crossed for you during that time.
I would have replied yesterday but my meds were kicking in and made me feel a bit… Well you know… Not myself.
ANNOUNCEMENT i am going into semi-retirement as a commenter on Andy Capp and GoComics in general. I may drop in from time to time. I am leaving Pogo in good hands with Chalkie/Eldo. BCNU.
Number 6…how did you know Ruth and I hit the clearance aisle at our Super Target and bought all the Dove Dark Chocolate Bunnies they had and an assortment of various Bunnies…Gummy, White Chocolate, Cookies and Cream, Russell Stover Solid Chocolate, etc. We both spent about 5 lbs ($20.00) on Bunnies…(so sue me if I dont know the correct rate of exchange…the only time I am sure of the exchange rate is the 1920’s)…the Chocolate Bunny is my favorite “wild” animal…lol…
Gweedo, I am still missing you and your posts, even though I do go to the profile “goat comics” has of/for you and read it…it just isnt the same is it?…extra sweet hugs for you our exiled Capper…take care … of you and your radiator…

“Andy the Arm Bender” and “Chalkie the raw Chicken chump”, something to look tough against what sounds like the prison team.
