I was hoping it was just a local phenomenon.

but unlike hydrogen, the amount of stupidity is ever-increasing…

I was going to say, “Forget the hydrogen car, we need a car that runs on stupidity.”, but then I remembered, we’ve had cars that run on stupidity ever since they invented the cel phone.

Evenbefore that. When Ripley’s believe It or Not was running in our local paper years ago, there was this story: In 1903(?) there were two cars in Helena, Montana. They ran in to each other!

Unfortunately, hydrogen doesn’t annihilate itself and other hydrogen atoms without outside intervention. Humans do.

I think stupidity should be listed first.

Wiz, also tell him that he can find the majority of the stupidity in the Halls of Congress and the most of that is sitting in the big chairs that sit facing everybody.

Shoe is where I get my daily dose of sarcasm, it can usually get me through most the day.

Both true… but America’s politicians an’ press certainly haven’t cornered the market on stupidity. The more our technology advances, the less wisdom is applied to using it. We (Man) are arrogant enough to believe that we can know it all, an’ that we are always right – an’ everyone else is wrong. Arrogance, greed an’ the ceaseless hunger for power are all key facets of stupidity, but we are often just too stupid to realize it…

you must be referring to that empty space between the ears.which means it’s already covered under “stupidity” …

To paraphrase A. Einstein…I have found only two things to be infinite, the universe and human stupidity and I am not certain about the first.

2nd one is very abundant in Washington DC, NYC and Albany, NY.
