Bolin Enterprises from Illinois used chainsaws to carve a 30 foot high, 6660 lb. golf tee for a local country club! St. Denis, who was decapitated in the third century, is the patron saint of headaches! Scientists at the Fraunhofer Institute in Straubing, Germany, or experimenting with shrimp and crab shells to make plastic without using fossil fuels!

Although I’m a Christian, Christianity sure got screwed up by coming up with patron saints for almost everything. Good thing I don’t worship or pray to them; Jesus Christ is the only one I adore.

The golf tee sure doesn’t look 30 feet “tall” to me—maybe 30 feet “long” in that position. Judging by the man standing next to it, I’d say maybe 5 feet tall.

“…….Organized religion is used by those that believe they are in charge to keep small minded people organized and under control…….. "…………………………………………………….I’ve pondered over the years about the reasons people have for believing in agod. I have figured out that the moment you’re born, the brainwashing starts. It would naturally follow that when you become an adult, it’s so ingrained into your very being that you simply can’t disbelieve. Some of us are resistant to that brainwashing and we find ourselves in a category called atheist.I am also inclined to believe that religion came into being because people have loved ones, and they want to believe they are going to a ‘better place’ when they die. That makes it easier to accept their loss.Atheists are no better and no worse than ‘believers’ — it just turns out that we were immune to brainwashing.

Instead of responding to all the anti-Catholicism, anti-religion, and anti-theism here, I’ll say, “When are we going to see the nine-iron that goes with that tee?”
