Adam: Oh, wow! Do you feel that? It's warm today. Katy: Yeah it is. Adam: Not just warm. It's just warm. It's downright hot! Feels like it's time to thin out the old arm hair. Katy: What? Adam: Sure. I do it every year about this time. I head down to the old barber shop. Have 'em break out the thinning shears. Katy: You're joking. That's gross. Adam: It's no joke. Then I recycle it. What do you think we stuff your winter mittens with? Katy: Mom! Dad's warping my sensibilities again!

I have a couple of friends back home (identical twins) who were so hirsute (arms, legs, back, neck) from puberty, they would make Robin Williams look like the ‘BEFORE’ picture on a Rogaine ad (were it to be used on the rest of the body). Sunlight could not penetrated that forest, but we still kept up with the sunscreen just in case. Funny how they both went completely bald by their 30s. They would ‘dethatch’ their back hair and leave it outside for the birds to use in their nests. When they started going grey, they called themselves ‘the Silverback twins’. Great sense of humor about the whole hair thing, except for the balding. Topic to avoid, by unspoken rule.

In Baltimore it was in the 80s on Friday, and dropped to the 40s on Saturday. We went from summer to fall overnight!
