Poor Dad…

“Oh dad, poor dad. Alice has lost her sneakers and I’m feeling so sad”.

If you mow your lawn, and find enough sneakers to stock a Payless, you just might be Alice’s dad…

Why can’t kids ever keep track of their things?

I love that Alice verbalizes her play. :)

Alice is smart. No one can play in the grass wearing shoes. The blades of grass have to tickle your toes.

I like the way the grass grew from the first panel to the second.

oh like wow! i did the same when i was young but i was the one who have to go back and get the shoes =(

i wonder if she left her shoes in the house to begin with

Somebody has to say it- Dad wasn’t really running the mower that close to little kids, was he? Even mulching mowers fling things at times. (Like chunks of tennis shoes, toy cars, action figures, etc. Not to mention the usual rocks and sticks.)

That “ohhhkay” was cute.
