Oh, Burl’s a great one to be talking about ‘blabbing’. Sheesh. BTW, is there no Find-It today?

I thought they usually spelled U-Stor-It without the E….

It’s probably as variable as Julie’s spelling.

Leaky, there’s a very very good reason they look like idiots.

They’re idiots.

And the biggest idiot has risen to the top of the idiot heap…Not cos he’s so good at what he does…..But because the less stupid an employee is, the more likely he (or she) will eventually find a better job….

The slowest and dumbest remain at U-Stor-It ’till they have enough seniority to drift into management.

Purple…. no Find-It at the storage company, cos everything not locked up or tied down has already been found…..and loaded into one or another employee’s car..

Always conduct annual reviews with the door open.

Burl should be a manager where I work. He’d be no worse than some of them!

Nice to see BURL at “work”…. at least one day out of the year…. Although his management style leaves a lot to be desired….. ? ! ?

Most people in my generation take some pride in their work quality. My lover and I share that especially as well as our opinions about the world, politics, economy etc. I especially admire his dedication to his customer base; that’s why I never press him towards retirement, even tho’ retirement would mean more time together.

I don’t see any locks on the file drawers of the personnel files and salary records. You may think he is getting a raise, but I doubt it, what Burl doesn’t want is for the others to think he got a raise and they didn’t, it is a great game in low end jobs. You go out and smile and say I got nice raise, and watch everyone else get mad after their meeting.

Well Burl finally is back at work, He’s cured. Its a miracle! Its a miracle the business is still in business, what with all the pilfering going on. Didn’t know he actually had a desk, or does he borrow the Management desk for such occasions? Most likely the latter, altho a desk affords more space to hide goodies.

He doesn’t have to do annual reviews very often because he is one of the few in the corporation that has been there for more than a a year.

His desk came out of a unit. He has to put it back before he goes home. The pics are filed in the personal cabinet for next year’s reviews.
