@afficionadoAs a retired nurse you can probably understand the ordeal Danielle and her husband went through with all those hospital visits trying to get pregnant. But that’s all history now, she is the happiest mother-to-be I have ever seen.
Best wishes to your wife. I hope she recovers soon.
Mornin’ Cappers. I’m a bit late to the show today. Was involved in a writing project til 3am and missed the turn. Slept in a bit and am now playing catch up on everything. Have a great Monday !
Sorry to be posting this late, but Gweedo says:Sunday Night Flight:

Just what are they teaching at school these days ?!I can see not knowing “donnybrook”, but incognito ?/?…Anyway, you wont see this particular story if you go to the Alley Oop strip since he emails us the daily pieces… daily. Barbara Jo seemed to do her performance the same as always. I could see by looking at her and her clan that she is a standout character (black sheep?). She had a pink straw looking cowboy hat on for this one; different than her usual cowboy style hat. Bob did some good Dobro licks and Todd had both bass guitars on tap; a big ol’ bass fiddle and one that resembles an acoustic guitar. He needs a subwoofer. The low notes sounded muddy and overdriven. Paul, on lead acoustic and the over the neck harmonica was as good as ever.
It’s enough that Auntie is on dialysis and where food has become a more tricky proposition that she has to have that happen. She was a little vague explaining it, but she and her family were approaching the store and she didn’t get her foot up when approaching the concrete riser (curb?) and so on…. She said she wasn’t light headed or any of that, just wasn’t paying best attention. We’re all not bright in some area or another.Only the art museum in Buffalo, NY is “Albright” ! Sunday is good, hope yours is too.
I’m assuming that the first part of your comment to me was meant in humour? Because it looked critical from my viewpoint. I’m just wondering because I don’t know how to take it.At least I was clever enough to look the words up.I had 2 falls last year… One on the ice in December and the other was when the ground was wet as it had been raining. I couldn’t control the ice fall as everywhere was slippery and I was just careless on the wet ground which was also slippery. Two men were walking behind me as I fell and asked one of them if I was all right and I said I was fine. The ice fall shook me up and I had a bruise on my back and I hurt my arm but it wasn’t broken… Just had pains every now and again.. No injuries from the other fall.I remember you posted a photo of the band and I like Barbara’s style. It suits her. The others looked awesome too.I loved your link to the art museum. It looks really beautiful. My Sunday was OK… Glad yours was too
I can’t find what Ringo said about “Stars shining” but John Lennon had some things to sai about dHarma, accepting the consequences of pursuitful behaviors, not-limiting One’s possibilities, SEEING the good in yerself, and enjoying/appreciation “the Ride” of Life:
The team must be desperate for players to carry a soused lout onto the field. Andy’s depiction as some kind of a drunk superman must be what keeps a lot of boozers optimistic !

If you take it with a smile, you got it ! It should be more of a jab to the school, but don’t tell’em… in case they don’t laugh. Years ago, in a letter I got from an old (American) Indian man, he wondered about the quality of the education I was getting… all in fun though. The two letters are almost 40 years old and I still got um. Mr. Tallchief has passed, however. I expressly remember you relating one of your slips. About a week ago I tripped in the dark hallway about 3 ish in the morning; fell on my hands but scraped my shins.. with a little “leakage”. No lasting hurt.
Barb’s ‘mister’ has a habit of coming to see her play and must feel mighty pleased by her performance. She is forward and has a dynamic vocal. You might actually enjoy what she does. Our grade school, Sweet Home Elementary, took us on a field trip there as well as the science museum and the history museum; not all in the same year. We also got a trip to the aquarium in Niagara Falls and rode the Maid of the Mist. School wasn’t always a drag ! Good Monday to you.
Mister Six does some good work….I’d like to see his output in the national press..Let’s face it….“Buster” was a great comic and they wouldn’t employ just anybody.
Here’s a pic of Sir Pic in British Columbia where as you see They ALSO drive on the Left, just in a different direction. Pic’s safe Here on a Ped/Bi crossing here called an “Auto Ban” no motor vehicles. Bein’ part of the “Americas” Bull run wild up there some Bull some Moose some both of One; twice-half the Other might meese with some. Half interesting and Half scary really anyways not a safe place to Camp; outlaws outdoors no Laws-in place against doing anything like flopping but not good idea when Honey around esp. in-Hand. it’s the things being unbearable which You WONT [sic]. When It’s BearABLE up there, things likely-to get torn-up REAL good. Ursine have Canines Too and Tongues also not-always impervious to Lashes…
