I’m with Andy on this one. Why would a balding man like to feel the wind in his so-called hair? (Sorry I’ve not been around, everyone, I just moved to a new place Saturday and it took a while to get the Internet set up).

Andy thinks a Coif is something to sneeze-at:

Say, notice how Smythe drew a Poker by that Fireplace? Easy wat to making a Wave, permanent? A Curling-Iron might get quicker results. Sometimes used to “straighten-out” details as-well. . . .

Actually, we don’t know if Andy has any hair under that cap.

    I wear one of these:

Wondering if you knew that Andy’s birthday is July 10? A fellow Cancerian. The old Andy was a veteran of the Battle of El Alamein in WWII !

In my youth, with few notable exception and not counting motorcycles and pickup trucks, I owned sports cars. I started with a 1954 Morgan Plus 4, and finished ( if memory serves ) with a 1971 Datsun 240 Z. Those were glorious days, when I could vault my 6’ body into the drivers seat and take off.I love sports cars but I can no longer ‘vault’ and would have to wedge myself in and pry myself out of one. I do have plenty of hair for the wind to whistle through.

Once again, no action (or even implied action) in today’s strip. I’m not asking for fight clouds but could we have something at least? Andy looks bored, rightfully so, but somehow or other the hairless windbag also looks bored. And congrats to Susan Newman for noticing Andy’s sudden sobriety in the last panel: that slipped right past me!

in high school I drove a red Renault – push button drive – really, really loved that car, then Dad got me a blue 66 Mustang convertible when I moved to Denver for the first 2 years of college, then it got me to So. Cal and UCLA. Should have kept both of them! But I do love my Mini Cooper that I drive now, it makes me feel a bit of a Brit..lol..Tootilicious Tuesday Hugs ((((((( CAPPERS ! )))))))

This strip made me laugh! I love Andy’s bored expression.

True story: I had a dream of me driving a beautiful red car with the roof off on a bright sunny day and the breeze was in my face and in my hair too. I think I had that dream twice.

It felt so amazing… Until I woke up to boring reality.

Today went well. Didn’t do everything I wanted but am making progress. The Bucks will play again, I’m sure. I don’t know about hundreds, but a few at least. Before the latest change the site told me I would have to buy a membership to view my earlier, more than 200 shots. I deleted some stuff to cut the crowding. It has lately given 1 Terabyte of storage. I don’t do the extra step of J-pegging before uploading now. After I do this I will do some more captioning over there. Joe and I still have to finish the window in the bathroom. We have both been busy elsewise. It’s been like a so called normal winter-spring season this year; that means stuff started later than it might have. See ya, Tuesday.

Didn’t GoComics have this thing where a member needed to have a ‘Genius’ membership to view the rest of their favourite comic strips? I had only just joined the site but I remember it well.

I know that Photobucket has a limited bandwidth and people have to wait 2 weeks to see their photos again unless they upgrade to full membership.

Glad your day went well yesterday and I hope today is a great one for you too!

    The Dalek Baby Maker says:

    Tepid Tuesday morning

Andy’s attempted snark in the last panel falls flat, although it is the logical response to “hair” guy. He sobered up momentarily to deliver this great, stupendous line.

I had a ‘59 Morgan but didn’t like it when the fan belt shrunk and got shorter. Ointment !..Linda, can I get a ride in your mini car ?  They look fascinating….. from the outside. My dad had about a used late ’50’s, early ’60s blue Plymouth 4dr car with that push button shift; located top left of the steering wheel and gauge cluster. If you managed to push two at the same time it jammed. It took a little jiggering to get the buttons right again. ..Number Three said, 26 Cosmic Girls ago

I remember when PRO used to be “Genius”. You had to have it to access the full history of a strip beyond two weeks, I believe. People got around that by changing the date in the address bar directly at the top of the page. Something I picked up at Pibgorn. Some very smart highly educated folk read that one and shared information and opinions on a wide variety of subjects. They still do but the current home of Pib and 9 Chickweed has all the different subjects segmented into different “rooms” and I don’t bother with all that toggling. I just do the strips comments and once in a very rare while visit some other “room” or two. -I hope your Doc trip is productive and stay away from hay ! -Maybe someday you’ll be in that red car for real, even if it’s only as a passenger.

This would be the next logical Automotive choice:…………. one of Qweedo-dough’s “lassos” leading the charge in the Goat-roping competition.

The Master Shade Tree Mechanic of Boulder says:My car fix pix are up. Took me long enough !

    Radiatorand Fuel pump port

I have captioned, below the shots, to explain myself.Click on the first pic, click again and it will get larger then just hit the arrow on the right to go through the sequence. For a larger view hit the back facing arrows, bottom right. If you click the arrow at the bottom center of the shot it will go full screen asking you to “Allow”. It also is a slide show. You wont see the captions while in slide mode. To reduce back to normal size, hit “ESC” on your keyboard or just back click the mouse.
