Me too. But in a couple of past jobs, when someone wanted to make managers nervous, we would show up in jacket and tie, or dressed for an interview. They never knew when it was for real, which it sometimes was.
Sounds like ill-fitting shirt. I have a tailored shirts that fit fantastically, feel great and look fabulous with a suit or with a sweater/tie combo. Of course, I don’t wear clip-ons because I’m not 8-years-old.
always hate the “lets talk” phrase from the boss. Even when its to praise, you still think something bad is going to happen..Jay…. be very, wery careful. Rita does not understand humour.

@russell5418or worse put him in management training. If you dress the part some times you gotta do the work.
Advice I give all the techies around me, 2 minutes in a management seat erases years of tech training and work on your resume.
