There was a FBOFW strip a few years back where Elly’s brother Phil was asked directions at the hospital, and he gave them perfectly, having spent so much time there caring for their Mother. Some of us know our way around the hospital better than the people who work there. Look for our next movie, “Finding Chemo”
I have the most fun doing xrays on small kids about 3-7 years old. When I hold the film up and tell them that’s what the inside of them looks like. 9 out of 10 times, their eyes get really big, and they are amazed. Young teen girls will tell me what a cool job I have. Yeah, I know :-)

david-42 – be thankful! I’ve got 11 years before SS, but I’ve lost count of how many MRI, CT & X-rays I’ve had just this year alone.

That’s me! Mom always said “it’s what’s inside that counts”.

You know you’ve had too many when you turn off the light at night, and your body glows…from the inside….

You’re lucky. I went to the VA, waited 3 hours and then they closed for the day. I had to come back the following week.

At least it’s not the dreaded little container in a plastic bag and (worst of all) verbal instructions for what to do with it.
