Sad but true Acacianpaladin, BUT IF those gas stations would have helped the American Public in some small way to keep the prices down by exposing the greed of those gas companies maybe our country wouldn’t be in such a fix. It is exhausting to have people that could have helped a situation throw up their hands and say it isn’t anything they could do and they are in the middle of it.
Sometime during the 60s, gas was 32c/gal.Gold was $32 per oz.One ounce of gold could buy 100 gal of gas. Now, one oz of gold will buy nearly 400 gal of gas! It’s not that gas is expensive, it’s just that money is cheap!
I am not all that impressed by the “free” sample of PRO membership because the PRO set-up makes it time-consuming to bring up the comments and read them. And, for a strip like Nancy – the comments are 99% of the fun!
Remember all, Rollo said the house belonged to the guy who owned the station, tot the guy who ran it. In the late 1940’s the station manager got 5 cents per gallon of gasoline sold. It hasn’t changed all that much today.

You mean the corporation. Right Rollo?

People who own gas stations don’t make their profit on the gas.
