I’ll confess to being a bit slow on the uptake, but once it clicked, that’s a good one!

Some dogs could use a box of “my best shoes helper”.

I thought a dog was a homework helper.

Wow, how things change. For a long time the-dog-ate-my-homework was a whole separate genre of cartoons. As were the two-people-marooned-on-a-desert-island cartoons.

I always thought that excuse was just some lame thing some kid with no imagination came up with, but thank you for opening my eyes to the truth!

Silly me, I forgot to add: “And the dog eats the instructions!”
