I saw Sheldon Cooper use one of these on The Big Bang Theory but thought it was fake. Then a couple of weeks ago, I saw a clerk using one at a clothing store. Who knew?
I bought one of those folding boards after seeing Sheldon use it. It works great for me. I can fold 8 T-shirts in about 10 minutes where it would take me a half hour before.
I fold his socks when I’m the one who takes them out of the dryer. I have a few pairs that I seldom wear and are folded. My homemade shoes are comfortable with just the Scholls pads and when I wear heels, pantyhose (or nothing for a quick errand).
I don’t understand how some can wear shoes all day without socks or stockings (only made to order fit that well).
I hang up my t shirts as I usually wear them most days. I buy all the same type of sock. I never worry if I lose one or if I have to toss one out. The socks all have mates.

Socks: fold ’em or roll ’em?

Just like the exercise machine my friend bought. The cat sleeps on it.

The “flip fold” works great for travel, all shirts same size and mimimum wrinkles. Ans: wife rolls my sock.

Roll. I even keep them rolled in the washer so I don’t lose them. Works most of the time.

we do the roll-fold. Just roll the cuff of one sock over the other enough to keep them together. No stretch, no lost partners.

Depends on the type of sock, longer, fold, ankle, roll.

I go along with Cecil B. DeMille: Roll’em!

I also roll my underwear and socks, and when travelling my outer clothes as well (give or take suit or sport jacket, IF I bring them).
