Burl wouldn’t be bragging about going to any school because he barely finished high school….
n fact, he spent his 4th, 5th, and 6th years (of the four year program) at Crustwood Continuation… trying to find a math teacher who would just give him a C so he could graduate.
Maybe Tim Sr. is in jail, perhaps he had a goal of picking locks when he graduated and that is why we never see him. YTS didn’t teach about not leaving fingerprints when he picked locks as the instructors thought it was for service calls.
Seriously, this is one thing I most admire about my lover. He still goes off to work 6 (sometimes 7 days a week for as many hours of work there is). I don’t blame him for not wanting to “retire” (or move from his customer base); if I were still employed doing the same stuff I always did at design and drafting, I’d be fine (less time, but a whole lot more money) and I’d have finished the rest of the remodel on this house. I figure though, having worked productively from my youth to the age of around 67-68, is what I expected to do back when I started. (and I include my 16 married years while I was just raising the 4 kids and doing dressmaking and calligraphy from home).
The Dinette Set is absolutely the worst, most un-funny, least entertaining so-called comic on the face of the Earth! I keep it on my list only to remind me that all things are not funny or good or entertaining!

Yale-Tech school for locksmiths. And a dropout at that. Couldn’t master graphite therapy.

Maybe Tim Sr. got smart and got a higher degree, left the state and has a great job somewhere.
I don’t think I would hang around that lot either..

Nah. Tim Sr. went off to “Yale” and, being indeed a chip off the old block, can’t find his way back.

Cool! I went to Yale (Lock School). And I have a PHD — that’s Post Hole Digger. It’s a job where you start at the top & work down.
