Rabbit ears? We still use them, but not directly on top of a tv. It would be hard to do that on a newer tv. You can still buy them. HD tvs have broadcast channels that are required to be provided. Antennas are still needed for a good picture. Sometimes cable isn’t always available for whatever reason. :-)
When my mom was a kid, she had a Cocker Spaniel. He would’ve loved those muffs. Mom used to tell me that that poor dog would panic and hide under the bed during fireworks, storms, etc.
Loving the memories: the yellow living room walls with green furniture, the boxy console TV and the “modern” ceramic lamp. But, those muffs would never have stayed on our dog’s ears.
We had a rug on the hardwood living room floor and a mechanical carpet sweeper, the kind you used like a push broom, rolling it on its little wheels That sweeper drove the dog and the cats crazy.

Throw in a couple of Milky Bones, Red, and you might be on to something!

Ah memories, and a house so neat, with kids and a dog?

Nothing on the coffee table? That’s unusual.

I didn’t know Red invented Mutt Muffs.

Cats could use something like that, too, for vacuuming, fireworks, and thunderstorms.

They’d be good on the 4th of July too.

My Irish Setter, Katie, could surely use one of those! You’d think the vacuum cleaner was going to swallow her up or something! ;)
