Elly’s friend looks like a grownup Elizabeth along with the facial expressions. Yes, I know that when Elizabeth grows up she will be depicted differently.

She’s hurting now? Wait til she’s closing in on 60!

Today’s ‘Dark Side of the Horse’ makes fun of aerobics, but there’s no mention of Olivia Newton John by Horace the horse…

I don’t see why Ellie’s so worried about her weight, she looked pretty good in the beginning comics. I mean, maybe she wouldn’t complain if she exercised more, but you lose weight by running after your kids (or that’s what my Mum told me)

I told my body, “If you can’t say anything nice, then don’t say anything.” It hasn’t said a thing since.

I wish Lynn would make up her mind whether or not this is a historical strip or whether she wants it topical. She keeps tweaking some things and leaving other dated information in. Pick one.
