I always found truckers with their large rigs to be angels of the road way. I follow behind them just far enough back for them to see me in their rearview and side mirrors and as they change lane so do I. I always get to my destination ahead of time, safe, and if I should have a problem . . . even with their deadlines, one always stops to help. I have seen them slow down speeding drivers, block drivers trying to short-cut to exits on the shoulders, and even assist the Highway Patrol by boxing in escaping law-breakers. And some mud flaps are so funny like Yosemite Sam , Daffy Duck, and Foghorn Leghorn. Three beeps for the Highway Protecters – Plugger Truckers!!

My Dad used to have something like that on the one car he used to have. I think it was the GMC Eagle AMX, but I’m not sure.

Where I’m from, it’s the other way around. The truckers are always the ones tailgating.
