There you go. It IS Ignatz that throws the brick. (But he doesn’t love Krazy.)

Nice Krazy and Ignatz drawings, Guy. But Ignatz has better grammar than Krazy—he’d say “my aim.”

Great old comic with a touch of surrealism, but the brick bit is why you will never see a revival of Krazy Kat in these politically correct times. (Think I’m exaggerating? When was the last time you saw a “Punch and Judy” show?)

Plenty of Punch and Judy shows in the UK in the summertime.

It’s always good to see the “K” in RipleyKGarfield!

@albert71292—Yesterday(11/19/13) you wrote that you read Krazy Kat daily at the “other” comic site. Which one is that?

I love Krazy Kat! I can’t say I miss it, because it came and went long before I was born. However, I always enjoy reading strips when I come across them. I would like to see someone revive it.

In response to some of the rest of the comments: I have never seen a Punch and Judy puppet show, or even one advertised (anywhere in US). I always believed that Rat from Pearls is inspired by Ignatz.I too, would like to see this site where you can read Krazy Kat.

Now ending with comment to Guy Gilchrist: Thanks for bring KK back to life for us, even if ever so briefly. I also am enjoying this arc, though I have no idea where it is headed.

You’re not likely to see a Punch-and-Judy show /advertised/ in the US; it’s only about 15 minutes long. But if you check out Renaissance fairs, street fairs, etc., you’ll eventually find one. “I! Told! You! Not! To! Make! The! Ba-! -by! Cry!”

I rather see Fat Freddy’s cat than Fritz the Cat. He would be with the FFF brothers.

I loved the Freak Brothers (and F. Frederick Skitty, too). That would be too cool if they popped up here.

And as far as stuff like Krazy Kat or Punch & Judy goes, there IS a counterpart that’s been with us for two decades: Itchy & Scratchy on “The Simpsons” unless Matt Groening (who attended The Evergreen State College a few years before I went) stopped inserting them into the program.
