The Dogfish Head Brewery in Delaware makes beer brewed with real moon dust! Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer was originally created as part of a promotion by the department store Montgomery Ward in 1939- the song was written 10 years later. The Christmas tree worm of the Caribbean is so named because it resembles a decorated Christmas tree.

Monkey Ward creates a red nosed reindeer. That’s kind of wrong, you know…

And just how does the Dogfish Head Brewery get their moon dust? It’s not like NASA goes to the Moon often.

So-called moon beer is nothing but a marketing ploy. It’s as if everything you read in the net must be real otherwise it wouldn’t be there now would it?

As I recall, someone was putting out a Christmas LP and one side had time left, but not enough for a full-length carol -so Rudolph was put on as a filler – and became the hit!Shortly after, Patty Paige tried to cash in with “Boogie Woogie Santa Claus” – Anyone remember it? Actually, it sold millions!(Because Tennessee Waltz was on the flip side!)
