I like win xp I still run it on one of my computers and I have no trouble with it excepte when mt nephew gpes to games sites that have hidden virues on them.
Microsoft to stop supporting XP. No more patches, no more security updates. There’s no upgrade path to Win 7 or 8 – you have to do a clean install. BUT! Microsoft will give you a 15% discount if you’re a business, and you’re running XP Professional – saving you $80 on the $560 dollars they’re charging for a new bundle for Win 8 Professional and Office. Oldbot is screwed.
I also have an older computer with XP, running fine (better than the one with 7) with no visible support from Microsoft. And not looking forward to the day I have to go to 8, from what I hear.
