Susansunshine:Firstly: Happy New Year! Now, I’m just catching up on strips since just before Christmas. On 26 December 2013, you pointed out the rather fractured timeline that we are travelling on.Also, you were wondering if you had actually seen this part of the story before. Well, I don’t think I’ve seen it either. The strip moved to GoComics from Comics.com at some stage (I think around 2010), and went into hiatus and re-runs and things.
Possibly this is the second time around on this site?
It’s definitely the second time around – not sure when it first appeared, but it was published in JW Vol. 5 in 2006.
I’m hoping that the three-part “New Years Eve Kiss” episode that Paige published on her blog (http://pb9.com/blog-o-rama/) is a promise of things to come, but as any author will tell you, fictional characters tend to take on a life of their own, and there’s no telling what Jane will do next.

Talia’s blouse reminds me of something Jackie Kennedy might have worn in the ’60s. Anyone else?
