Catfight! Catfight! Wait … It doesn’t have the same meaning here… Maybe they’ll morph into crabs or prawns, or what if one were a seagull and the other a clam. Nope, they’re done. But our new friends have hints of new info, and it’s only Tuesday.Vote: I’ve changed my homepage picture a while, so you might look back in time if you click on my username.

There’s still a transport to take care of, somewhere out there…and, besides, do zero guns work if submerged or even if they’re wet? Remember the one that ratted out Albert and Gustine and Petey…

Well, they’re either exceptionally brilliant infiltrators, willing to sacrifice some of their own to demonstrate loyalty (or just did a really good job of pretending to snap a neck and then tossed the person in the river before their targets had a chance to check) or they really mean what they’re saying!

… You know, since this /is/ Endtown, how much you wanna bet that one or both of these fellows has inherited the immunity?

Did I detect a flaw in the story? If Albion West is underground, how did the transports get down there? The story would have worked so far with the raid being just completed and Jim and Sarah staying behind. The discussion about transporters implies there’s more than one down there.

Well, card-playing antics aside, Jim and Sara have just demonstrated that they can be extremely dangerous. They duped and killed 2 armed opponents with apparent ease. Topsider training, or skills picked up by desperate actions over time?

On the transport location there is not one for Jim and Sarah. There is probably more than one entrance to Albion West. It was a drainage system in the past before it became Albion West. As for the two they never saw the transporter for Jim and Sarah as they probably walked out of the Topsider camp. The transporter, zero gun, antenna would give locations to searching Topsiders. Remember Al’s location in his adventure was by a Zero gun. Petey sided with Al. With Flask the transporter shut her out. Jim and Sarah can only trust one thing. The suit they are wearing. That is why they brought nothing with them. These two just killed were probably doing a recon like a hunter. Return to see if any anthros have showed up like Wally and Holly. Its what Jim and Sarah did looking for an anthro to ask how to mutate. Now however they have a problem. With these two now taking a sleep with the fishes their transporter is still nearby waiting. It will soon raise an alarm when these two do not return soon.Insertion into the canal does act as a block to any signals from equipment jamming locations. So if the transported is monitoring their movements they are now moving with the current so situation normal. Just soon they will be overdue. This proves one thing. Jim and Sarah are very committed to what they are wanting to do. Killing with a gun or a knife is one thing. Killing bare handed is totally another. You have to be really committed. I have done it twice in my past. That feeling does not go away easy. A knife was used but hands were placed on the subject for sharp edged insertion.

This does answer one question I had about the suit. I had often wondered if a high powered firearm might be able to deliver a fatal blow to a Topsider. My understanding is that the weapon would be unable to penetrate the suit, but wondered if a hit to the headpiece (particularly the “mouth”) might impart enough kinetic energy to the head as to snap the neck. One question I had was whether the suit’s neck would support the helmet to the degree that it would protect the neck. Apparently it doesn’t.

This is weird, seeing topsiders turn on each other like this…can’t say we’ve seen it done before in the comic like this.

Look at panel 1 – the group is next to the canal. In panel 4, the Topsiders killed in panel 3 are being shown falling into the water of the canal.

Been down here in sunny Florida where when it’s cold, it’s still warm compared to up North. Fat lot of good it’s done me this week as I’ve been fighting a cold and stomach problems.

It’s cold in Kansas. I’m beginning to learn to work with a Microsoft laptop.I miss my Mac OS!those 2 are very committed to change. Wally could talk to them about it, but seems like to stun and rip would be the less complicated.
