Jason: Big news! I've decided to become a viking! Andy: Oh, really? Jason: From this day forward, I vow to live my life in strict accordance with the Viking code of yore! What is the viking code of yore, by the way? Andy: You vowed to obey something you don't even know? Jason: This hat was too cool to pass up. Andy: Is this what Hagar's Mother had to deal with?

Hagar’s mother, I personally don’t know. Hagar’s mother-in-law on the other hand…

Depending on how seroius you want to celebrate “midvinterblot” (its around christmas, the shortest day of the year.) you either sacrifice a pig or a man. If you want to worship Frej and Freja, I think there were som ceremonies which included a lot of sex… Most important make sure you die in battle or else it can be hard to come to Valhalla! Or you can just celebrate Valborg as we swedish do, have a BIG fire last of april to welcome the spring :)

The Vikings were more into trading than they were into pillaging. Their trade routes went as far afield as the Middle East. With their longboats they were also able to trade in places well inland such as Paris and Central Germany.
