I can’t understand the enormousness of the theater is such a small town.

Seeing as they have fake tickets, they have to sit where there is an opening and hope the real ticket owners don’t show up.

Everyone in the audience is an old geezer. LOL! This is going to be good.

“[Skeezix’s] actually harder to work with, he’s so bland. His son-in-law, Slim, who’s actually obese, is easier to work with and Rufus and Joel, the unhandy men, are the most fun to work with.” http://remembercliffside.com/memories/newsstories/scancarelli_story/artist_talks.html

Nina is just as selfish. She assaulted “Frank Nelson” in order to illegally enter the theater, and belittled her husband’s desire to watch his game.

I always felt that the original setting was very open for your individual interpretation. Actual “Alleys” were (are) rare in small to medium towns. The location of GA could have been “filled in” by the reader to be a “local” small rural town to a “local” neighborhood of a large city.
