No doubt elders have been kvetching about “kids nowadays” since time immemorial, long before vampire and zombie shows ever existed. Make no mistake, they’ll always find something to deplore about what kids enjoy. And many kids like creepy stuff, regardless of the medium. So do a fair number of adults, even if they’re reluctant to admit it.
