What about when the birds plot their nefarious schemes in Snoopy’s doghouse? I was just reading that arc in one of my paperbacks the other day. (We never did find out WHAT their nefarious scheme was…..taking over the human government or something, I always used to think.
Dominoes is an extremely simple game to play, and would take about 30 seconds to learn if you didn’t know. And lots of people still do play; you just don’t know any, which isn’t saying much.
I know that not everyone is going to agree with me, but I am absolutely convinced that Woodstock made his first appearance in the strip in 1970 as Snoopy’s secretary in the Head Beagle story arc. Originally, Schulz thought of the clumsly little avian secretary as being female, but then he changed his mind and had her become a male bird – and it is only when that happened that Woodstock can truly be said to have been born. All of the birds who frequented Snoopy’s dog-house before the Head Beagle story arc were generic birds and nothing more – it wasn’t the same clumsy bird over and over again, but lots and lots of clumsy (and non-clumsy) birds, in the same way that you had a fair few random bugs turning up in Snoopy’s water dish in the ’80s.
@Snoopy_FanYour brother has wonderful musical taste! I enjoyed that instrumental very much.-And I’m glad YOU enjoyed the 60’s ‘songbook’ I had a feeling you would.-I only like a few of the Beatles’ songs. I didn’t really grow up with them. This is my favourite out of the few:
I always appreciate your music links and anything else you send to me. -I’m still missing my uncle. It sounds daft because I only met him once when I was about 4 years old which was 15 years ago.-The only memory I have is when me and my Mum were at his house and I happened to glance out the window and I saw that the big tree in his garden had pink blossom falling off it. I said to him “Look at the pink snow!” and I think he said “Yeah, Look at that. Pink snow!” LOL!-That’s the only memory I have. We didn’t see each other again after that. -I’ve never shared this with any of the Cappers. Just you.-Thank you for listening and caring before.Speak to you very soon!xxx

Brace yourself, Snoopy, for when they use your doghouse to play bridge! (Or has that one already run?)
