The Buckets by Greg Cravens for April 10, 2014
Transcript:
It's a manslaughter case! The guy actually killed his friend! The jury has to decide if it was self-defense! The guy had been released from prison like five hours before it happened! He argued with the friend who came to pick him up! We have to look this killer in the eye and tell him what we decided his fate is! You're being very quiet.

I’m not usually the first to get to say anything here. Too much gravitas in the cartoon today?

Not at all, Greg… Why should any one want to limit you to three panels, or a simply set-up goof? If you have a good story to tell, by all means tell it. And thanks!

Poor Larry. Mental conversations are so unfulfilling.

This is a very heavy comic today Greg. Very deep, and very silent.

I think that is the worst part about being on a jury – you can’t talk about until it is over.
