    Good morning, Vagabonds.

85 today in Henderson. Supposed to be 95 tomorrow and 100 on Friday & Saturday. I think I’ll find some place cool to hide out.

Good morning, Vagabonds. Great news: my Uyghur penpal who lives in Norway got his visa, so he’ll be visiting me for a month in July.

Yesterday, I went to the supermarket and was annoyed that the sales item I wanted to stock up on was not available. Then I saw that what I wanted at the 99 cents store was 33% more expensive. At least I got a good walk.

Morning, Vagabonds. Getting ready for Sports Day again. This is the annual event where children with handicaps and disabilities from all over the area come to our community for fun and games. They get to jet ski, ride boats and kayaks, play softball, ride ponies, and do lots of other fun things that they normally don’t get to do where they live.

Howdy Vagabonds..A kind’a gray morning here, in the upper 50s..What a difference a day makes with the leaves, yesterday they were swollen buds, today they are unfurling into Maple leaves right outside the window..Did anybody catch my reference to “The Terminator” yesterday? :-).Well i’ll be on my way, have full..ttfn

    Good Morning, Vagabonderaineans,

No, Mark…….I didn’t catch it. Shame on me! Our kids are constantly talking in movie quotes, so I guess I didn’t expect it of this “sane” group. So……….I guess we better watch out!

We’re finally getting to go to Yellowstone tomorrow and Saturday. We’ve had such iffy weather, that we canceled the previous trip. Although it’s supposed to be a 30% chance of thundershowers in the afternoons. But, that probably will turn out to be nothing. (I hope!)

@Woodworker: I would normally ask for a raincheck, but this story is a glorified grocery store and the sale price is often repeated and not worth arguing with the manager, who only speaks to me in Spanish.
