Interesting that the character representing the older generation should refer to the show as “children’s TV.” Wasn’t it just another prime-time sitcom, aimed at the adult audience? I used to hear back then that the TV networks regarded their entire audience as having the intelligence level of 12-year-olds. This seems to confirm it.

I noticed the same thing, all commercials are for old age medicine, Medicare part A and B, and death insurance. did you know the cost of a funeral today can be up to 10,000$. you need to talk to Alex Tribeck….hahahaha.

Cartoon Network brought Tom & Jerry back out of retirement again. They have another new series.

and sports broadcasting seems to rely on viagra and cialis.

My pet peeve about Gilligan’s Island on TVLand is that they’ve cut out the tale end of the show. Some of the funniest lines were in the final scene and now the new viewers will never know the shows best jokes.

I can relate to this one all too well. Good one.

Got one of those channels/networks. Rifleman, Bonanza. Gilligan’s Island. Which I can’t watch without singing the theme song.
