What about us “Dark Shadows” fans?
Round here it’s The Addams Family, definitely.
Hmm…which is which, I wonder…
The Addams Family was amusing, the Munsters, a poor copy.
The Munsters was essentially a standard sitcom with characters who just happened to be monsters. The Addams Family was a group of weirdos.
I watched and laughed at both when I was young. Does that make me some kind of freak?
I’m with you, Hugh. They were both fun.
Stealing jokes from Cheers? Come on, Mark. You’re better than that
Hilarious House of Frightenstein!
The Addams Family was definitely superior (and the prototype). The Munsters had its moments, but depended heavily on Fred Gwynne’s work. The Addams Family was far more an ensemble success….
