    ….for me it was either… roy rogers…lone ranger…hop along cassidy…kit carson… wyatt earp…tom mix…etc….depending on the movie or tv show i was watching at the time…those were the days

    thanks to this Disney’s Davy Crockett, king of the wild frontier series, introduced in 1956, it was very hip to have coonskin haton retrospect, it looks like Disney only had about 40 actors dressed up as Mexican soldiers , and they were killed over and over and over….

    cartoon characters can live up to a hero’s image. When the truth comes out about cowardly acts and bad personality(think John Wayne), it just ruins everything.Roy and Dale were real, though.

    What would Brutus do in such an outfit today, model Western wear for Muleskinner style boots in Chelsea, Michigan? Lucchese boots illustrated on a billboard off the freeway going west towards Chelsea.

    Looks like Wilberforce would fit in well at Vanderbilt University, although it is located in Nashville it is NOT part of its country and western culture!!!!!!!!!!
