23 inch seam?? Who is he buying for, Patty? I don’t think she’ll ever wear what they buy for her any more since she moved out..
I am assuming that man is a customer ? He does sound like family though, going to a store that doesn’t have what he wants.. Maybe trying to pick up Verl?? Yea Jerry you have a little competition going on there, and those pants won’t help you either….
….they tend to carry this noxious, irremovable aroma after he’s tried ’em on, and thus they remain on the rackt, hitherto unsold & bound for the thrift stores for that tax write-off!!
I once knew a guy with a 44" waist and about a 22" waist. His wife shortened pants for him. It took him both hands and five minutes to reach the bottom of his front pockets.
Joy is very lucky to have such a unique man all to herself, short and fat plus he is a romantic with laminated memorabilia and such thoughtfulness for her and her whole family. Verl can only dream of such luck.
I thought that the stranger here was the clerk (commenting that he can’t shop here). I’ve had gals working at Marshalls comment that they shop Goodwill.
When we were little, I remember hearing a taunt to chubby kids “Fatty, fatty 2 by 4 etc.” Neither was I taunter or taunted, but Tigger’s example seems to fit (even more than Burl).
