I always like these visits to the Old Comics Home. ;-)
Now, that’s classic! A keeper!
About time to leave Walt behind … there are only about five people in the world older than he is.
Annie is still there, but you won’t find the Butcher of the Balkans!
Gweedo, did you paste the wrong message here? That’s the one you posted at Dick Tracy.
Nice to see Moon Mullins again, but Kayo should have been there as well…too, Maggie along with Jiggs. But of course there isn’t all that much room in a panel. Great memories.
Thanks, Jim!
I must be too young (only 80) I never heard of “squirrel cage” or “room & board”.
So Walt brought Allison along with him. He’s 92 by now I think.
Hopeful one day Walt and the rest of his gang will get to live there instead of visit it.
Thanks for a great strip!
More from Wikipedia: The hitchiker was the acknowledged inspiration for Robert Crumb’s Mr. Natural.
Can’t say that I am always a fan of this strip..But, what can I say?.Any strip that features Smokey Stover can’t be all bad!
