I could see Tess and Adonis deciding to go to Thunder Island on their own not knowing that Sam and Fritz Ann are also on the way to the same place – maybe to find Tracy. They unknowingly check into adjoining rooms in the same hotel in Simmon’s Corner. Then Tracy and Annie walk in….Kind of like Chateau Chantelle in that old Peter Sellers / Peter O’toole movie.
Planned plot point all along, or retconned to cover a dangling thread? —Given the lead-time in the comics business, I would think this was intended. It lets Tracy get into trouble before Tess can come to his aid, allowing the plot to progress with Tracy’s captivity and alliance with Annie….
Does this mean we’ll get to see Tess’ pink handgun again? Oh and by the way… WOOO HOOO!!! JOHNNY “THE MAN” ADONIS!!!*
Aside from Lee Ebony (and to be fair they were both introduced at the same time) Johnny is my absolute favorite “new cast member” to have been added to tracy’s strip. I’m glad Mike isnt ignoring the fact that he exists!
Okay. So there have been a lot of jokes by other commentators about Tess and Johnny. Now, it seems Team Tracy is confirming them..Is there a background on what the sam hill is going on here?
I wonder what’s next – will we find out what happened on Thunder Island?Considering the first nuclear reactor was built in 1942 at the University of Chicago, the idea of a nuclear accident of some sort at Thunder Island isn’t far-fetched.It looks like everything is beginning to come together, but still so many questions…
We look in at “The Tracy Detective Agency” to see the boss, Tess “Trueheart” Tracy, learning about the provider’s fix to the problem that kept her from reading her husband’s e-mail until now. We have clear confirmation of why the e-mail was not read until now. We’re also reminded that Team Tracy has made Tess “Trueheart” Tracy the head of her own business. Another small but vital way the strip is keeping up with the times. Well done.
but my point NG is that for someone who KNOWS her husband is missing (as ken in ohio pointed out to me. thanks ken i guess i missed that) youd think she would be a little more concerned.
bonnie cant take the place of her mother at home, een tho Joe loves her to death… joe is still a young kid and in a time like this, his mother should be there with him.. youd think!

That takes care of the long dangling plot thread over the email.

I wonder if Johnny & Tess will get involved in the investigation?

A likely story, I’m sure Tess and Adonis have been too “busy” to even bother with email.
Neil Wick over 10 years ago
Oh, so there was a problem with their email! That finally explains why Tess never got the email Dick sent.

@StarBearDo you think that Tess and Johnny are just going to take off to the island without telling anyone where they are going?

I would like to have known about the email being down earlier. But that’s OK, I’m still really enjoying the story!

This is actually foreshadowing of the next plotline when the MCU must deal with the criminal making the computer virus.

“She’s more responsible than you are.”-——Probably. I almost never receive anything personal. My e-mail account has more spam than Stop & Shop.

“Tess is use to Tracy leaving early and getting home late. Her own hours must be wonky as well.”-—Very good point.

WHH, yessir! Johnny Adonis might just be the next poster on this forum. He’d be called WHJ (“J” for Johnny).

Tess is so confused and maybe conflicted that she’s developed some sort of hand disorder.
